Do you need a deposit?

An upfront security deposit, equivalent to your comprehensive insurance policy excess, is standard procedure. Consequently, should you elect a higher policy excess to reduce your premium, a higher deposit will be required for the vehicle.Furthermore, the initial weekly hire payment must be paid for either in advance or at the time of the vehicle collection.​​

What is your policy for damaged vehicles?

Our service package covers routine maintenance and repairs resulting from normal wear and tear.Any bodywork or mechanical damage caused by an accident, misuse or negligence is the responsibility of the hirer.All accident related repairs must be carried out by one of our approved repairers. Where required, we can help arrange repairs through your insurance provider.For minor damage or repairs, we can also arrange the work on your behalf through one of our approved repairers, with the cost paid by you where applicable.

Who is responsible for servicing and repaires?

The weekly hire fee is inclusive of all scheduled servicing and mechanical repairs. This also covers the replacement of tyres necessitated by standard wear and tear.​Please note that coverage excludes any damage to the vehicle's bodywork, as well as wheels or tyres damaged by the driver. For such instances, we maintain a partnership with an approved bodyshop to facilitate necessary repairs through insurance claims or specific repair contracts as required.

What if I have an accident?

All accidents regardless of fault must be reported to our hire office immediatly before contacting your insurance broker for assistance. We know that accidents happen. If they aren't managed well, they can cause costly downtime and lost earnings. Our accident management team is here to handle everything for you. We take care of non-fault incidents from start to finish, so you can get back on the road and focus on your work without the stress.

Do you provide breakdown cover?

Most 'Hire & Reward' taxi insurance policies either include breakdown cover as standard or offer it as an affordable add on.Consequently, we recommend that hirers ensure this cover is included within their own policy.​This approach ensures that, should assistance be required, you can contact the provider directly for 24-hour support. Furthermore, many local taxi companies require proof of breakdown and recovery cover as a standard condition of engagement.​​​​​
